Command Software Purchases Assets of GEAR Inc. to Provide Strategic CDR Technologies

JUPITER, FL - Command Software Systems, Inc., developers of award winning anti-virus and security software, announced today that it has purchased technology and intellectual capital assets, including products sold under the "GEAR�" brand, from GEAR Inc. Serving worldwide markets, GEAR Inc. marketed CD recordable and CD storage/distribution software products. "This transaction provides Command with the technological building blocks for our strategic direction of developing knowledge management products," says Dyan Dyer, CEO of Command. "GEAR has a long tradition of quality products, as do we." GEAR CD-R Suite containing GEAR Audio, Replicator and WebGrabber, as well as GEAR for Windows and NT will be sold under the brand name CD GEAR�. Command will establish a new development site in Eindhoven, the Netherlands to complement its Jupiter, Florida development location.
