Command Software is proud to introduce Command On Demand
Version 4.64.2
A Release Notes section is provided for each release. It contains
the following topics:
* Special Notes - contains important pre- and post-installation
information that pertains to the release.
* Product Enhancements - contains information about new virus
signatures, scan engine improvements, and new features.
* Fixes - contains updated information on previously reported
problems that have been fixed.

SPECIAL NOTES
* For a description of the contents of the Command On Demand zip
file refer to Release Notes dated 07/19/01 below.
* ADMINISTRATORS: The CSS Web Installer version number has changed
to 1,4,0,20327 If you are using a previously customized CODIE.HTM,
CTRLNS.HTM, and DEFS.JS files, you need to update these files.
Refer to UPDATING THE CSS WEB INSTALLER VERSION NUMBER in the
INSTALLATION chapter of the COMMAND ON DEMAND ADMINISTRATOR'S GUIDE.
* ADMINISTRATORS: You can now customize the name of the Command On
Demand desktop icon. Administrators need to update the CODIE.HTM and
CTRLNS.HTM files.
The instructions for CUSTOMIZING THE DESKTOP ICON LINKS have changed.
NOTE: If you are using a previously customized CODIE.HTM and
CTRLNS.HTM files, you need to update your files accordingly.
1. Locate the CODIE.HTM file.
2. Using a text editor, open the file.
3. Locate the following function call:
function OnLoad()
4. Within the call locate the following variable:
result=Installer.InstallProduct2
5. If you want to change the name of the desktop icon, within
this variable, locate the following:
""
6. In between the quotation marks (""), type the new name of the
desktop icon and add .url
For example, if the new name is Virus Scanner, you should have
the following:
"Virus Scanner.url"
7. If you want to change the launch page, within this variable,
locate the following:
base_url+�host.htm�);
8. Replace host.htm with the name of the new launch page.
NOTE: You should NOT change anything before the beginning
or after the ending quotation marks (�).
For example, if the name of the new launch page is INDEX.HTM,
you should have the following:
base_url+�index.htm�);
9. Save and close the file.
10. Locate the CTRLNS.HTM file.
11. Using a text editor, open the file.
12. Locate the following tag:
